Cookie Policy

Last updated: 9 May 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how PawDash uses cookies and similar technologies on pawdash.co.uk and tenant subdomains.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser when you visit a website. They let the site remember actions and preferences over time.

Our cookie posture

PawDash uses essential storage only. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party analytics that set cookies. No cookie consent banner is shown because none is legally required.

What we store

Strictly necessary (always on):

  • Supabase authentication session (localStorage) - keeps you logged in to the staff app.
  • Supabase auth refresh token (localStorage) - allows silent re-authentication.

Analytics: We plan to add Plausible Analytics in a future release. Plausible is cookie-free and does not require a consent banner under PECR.

Marketing or tracking cookies: none. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any similar tools.

Managing cookies

You can change your cookie choice at any time by clearing the consent record from localStorage or via your browser settings. Note that disabling strictly necessary cookies will break the Service.

Third-party cookies

Supabase Auth sets a session cookie on your tenant domain when you log in. Google sets cookies on its own domain if you authenticate via Google OAuth. Both are governed by their respective privacy policies.
